About Me
My name is Alec and I'm a Bristol based wood worker/creative. I've been working with wood for the last ten years and have been passionate about It's functions, uses and beauty of the material since I was a child. I started out as a landscape gardener in 2016, learning from experienced people around me, I quickly developed my own set of skills and approach to finer details and creative design practices. I later set up a landscaping business in 2018 so I could harness and experience the fullness of every project and grow my creative practice. Since 2022 I decided to make a shift in my work and move more into working primarily with wood, which has transferred into furniture/cabinet making. I've always held particular attention to detail so this work resonated with me. I hold a lot of my personality in my work, it allows me to express a version of myself, individually and creatively. My main aim is to make quality custom made furniture/wooden structures and enhance the functionality, asthetic and atmosphere of living spaces.
